The coast is only a 1 hour drive or for those seeking a taste of the high life it is less than a 1.5hr drive to St Tropez. For a more modest beach experience it is 20 mins drive to the beaches which surround the vast freshwater lake of St Croix. For the more adventurous there are plenty of activities ranging from tennis which is a 5 minute walk away to sailing and windsurfing for which lessons are available on the lake. For the truly adventurous there is white water rating and canoeing, rock climbing and mountain biking.
